Hi! I am Diane Hartman, the artist. I LOVE animals and have
been drawing and painting them most of my life. I started my Critters-R-Us business in 2000 in my home making
dog apparel & crafts. I still do some sewing but I am now adding my art to my business. My pictures are created from original photos of my dogs and their friends. I use graphic
and pencil art to capture their unique expressions and personalities and then scan them back to the computer to print
them. The notecards are printed on white cardstock, 10 per package with envelopes. I also do custom animal portraits
in black and white (graphic and/or pencil) as well as portraits on River rocks in oils or acrylics. My husband and I live in Hixson, TN...a suburb of Chattanooga. We have 2 grown children and 5 grandchildren.
We are owned by three dogs: Oscar, a red Minature Dachshund (14 yrs. old), Kacee, a black & tan Minature Dachshund
(5 yrs. old). and Emmy, a black & tan Minature Dachshund (6 yrs. old). They & their doggy friends are my inspiration
for most of my artwork.
